We have already seen our state senator say, in writing, that he would support legislation to get 10% for OPA. Our state senator is a Republican who voted against slots and it is a good political move to do what he did. However, in a den of Democrats it was not going to happen and I suspect he knew as much. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: I doubt there was little chance that the legislation that allowed Berlin and Ocean City to have a set percentage would have been changed as the lawmakers would be fearful of opening the Pandoras Box further than they already did. There is NO chance when there is no try. We have already seen our state senator say, in writing, that he would support legislation to get 10% for OPA. |
