That was not the case, as minds were not "made up." I suspect you made what you thought was the proper decision on this issue. I just believe there are a lot of property owners who believe otherwise. The role of the BOD is to look out for the best interest of the 8,400 plus property owners. I'm of the opinion that on this issue that wasn't done. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: If the BOD members who participated in these meetings had made up their minds that it was WRONG to be asking for a percentage of slots money via legislation even before attending the meeting, then a disservice has been done to the OPA and the membership. That was not the case, as minds were not "made up." But are you saying that discussing this with our minds made up would have been a greater disservice than not discussing it? I went into all discussions to learn what I could learn, and I believe I had an "open" mind. Depending on what I heard, I could have been convinced the other way. Nothing convinced me. |
