There's a big difference between an ordinary citizen and an elected leader. I believe a leader's words carry a bit more weight and would have better advanced the cause. You were elected to represent this community's best interests; on this issue, you and the Board failed. | ||||||

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: We certainly made our strong beliefs know to our elected Board of Directors. What makes you think we did not do likewise with our government/political officials? Well, Norm, I don't know about "we" but you certainly did let us know, and we ignored you. For that, I admit we were wrong. Who else made their strong beliefs know (sic) to us? BTW, what did the government/political officials you talked to say to you? Did you really ASK? If not, why not? Oh, and I made that statement because you failed to inform Reynolds in a post what you discussed. What political clout? Well, I thought you knew I was being sarcastic. I only have truth and conviction and a number of people that in this case agree with me. Me, too, but as each of us sees it. Or, are you a "wimp" because you do as you believe and not as I believe? Norm, sticks and stones can break my bones, but "wimp"? Really, I've been called lots of things but that's not the one I usually hear about. BTW, I hope you can see some humor in this exchange. I'm not really upset that you called me a "wimp." Bill
