However, in a den of Democrats it was not going to happen and I suspect he knew as much. Jack, any request for a change to the bill would come from a Democrat - Mathias or Conway. This has nothing to do with partisan politics. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: We have already seen our state senator say, in writing, that he would support legislation to get 10% for OPA. Our state senator is a Republican who voted against slots and it is a good political move to do what he did. However, in a den of Democrats it was not going to happen and I suspect he knew as much. |
