Hi Joe, I'm sure the majority of owners would not want OPA to reduce road speed to 30 MPH to make way for golf carts. And since its hard enough to convince alot of these old folks that RT. 589 is mostly 50 MPH north AND south of OP & Yes you can cross the white line on the right if you have a vehicle turning left in front of you, could you imagine trying to teach them the rules of the road on golf carts. And the only county owned road left in OP is Manklin Creek Rd. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Maryland law makes it illegal to use golf carts on public streets..... so regardless of what you, I, or others may want or not want, it would require an act of Maryland legislature to make golf carts legal in Ocean Pines.... for starters. |
