the Eastern Shore distribution center has informed him that his services will no longer be required after 9/14. We can access the paper by internet or the Post Office mail.
I have been seeing the same thing. A while ago my GOOD OLD BOAT magazine sent a notice that "due to mailing, paper and printing costs they will no longer be able to provide their magazine and will be moving to a digital version only". I enjoy reading printed material, but we are becoming dinosaurs in that world I am afraid. Life moves on but I will still find something physical to read every morning when doing my duty! |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: I wish I could say you were wrong in your projection. I hope something turns it around...in my lifetime. Just two days ago, we got a notice from the paper carrier that has faithfully delivered our WSJ every day we're here. Other magazines such as Handyman have become much smaller and others are giving away their subscriptions just to maintain the numbers for advertising purposes. My Motor Trend has gone to just a couple coffee table style issues a year.
