Maybe I should be more specific. When I walk out my driveway on the St Martins [THE TRUCK ROUTE] I measure the inbound lane to be 129.inches. Then I make a right face and walk towards Ocean Parkway and I measure again and I see 137 inches... Given the painted stripe plus or minus 4 inches, I see a foot.
Any room we give pedestrians and bikers is a plus. I can't see anyone not wanting to make it safer... But I could be wrong. |
