For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Glen Riddle is paying the OP service area to treat sewage trucked from Glen Riddle to OP. We have no idea if the payment amount is fair. You failed to mention the payment is 500K a year. Yet you imply the amount is insufficient.
Why shouldn't they? Riddle is a cash cow for the county. there are approx. 700 homes there paying between 2500-4500 in property taxes. It is not unreasonable to expect drinkable water and flush able toilets in return. And yes, every taxpayer in the County contributes to the General Fund. Oh, puh-leeze. |
