![]() ![]() Section 5: OPA Board Subject: Farr Motion to Hire MK Msg# 1224612

Not wild about board members being privy to who voted for which candidate. That cannot possibly be allowed.
I will not be voting this year. The last thing I want is some board member seeing I didn’t vote for them, and then suddenly I’m getting notices about my leaves needing to be raked, or my fence being he wrong color, or whatever. I do find it kind of funny, in a weird way, that Mr. Farr was rather gleefully confessing this before you essentially told him to stop talking. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Why would the election contractor tell Rick Farr the names of voters who submitted duplicate voting? How is that proper? If the election contractor informed OPA of the lot number, the name is easily determined. I believe the general question is why board members are privy to this information. Leaks from Committee Members? Or were all these double count vote lot numbers disclosed during the observable count? Association members deserve an answer to how any board member would know a former board member voted twice by way of knowing the lot number of a double vote. And committee chairman Ransdell wants LESS TRANSPARENCY. |
