For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: So 70% chose paper . . . . A few years back everyone was perfectly happy with paper ballots. No one needed to re-write an RFP to include online. That was the personal choice of a few progressive committee members. Less than a third of us voted on-line, in spite of all the hoop-lah and promotional pushes. Paper worked perfectly well, and as was pointed out by some previous contributors this is a free election to elect non-paid representatives. We should do it in-house with current payroll, even if it takes an extra week. I don't see how the process could get more screwed up than it has been for the last several years. |
