When I stopped in their office up in Delaware to restart service the lady at the counter ran down the monthly cost, the total for the basic service including taxes and "fees" was $175, that was the point at which I said thank you but no thanks.

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Yes, you do tend to repeat it. Not sure if you exaggerate a tad.  Perhaps someone with basic tv and no internet can tell us what they pay Mediacom for cheapest basic TV.
