For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: I bought an antenna from Walmart with what they claim can be either a 200 mile range or 1000 mile range depending on whether or not you switch to long range. It will pick up both HD and regular signals but because I have a HD TV I can only get HD channels. I have it in the window of my room and get 7 HD channels, all clear as a bell and free! The antenna cost me about $25 on sale, regular price, if I remember correctly, was $49. Same here. Not sure why more people do not use an antenna for local channels and then just use internet-only for streaming stuff like Netflix. Then buy this: |
