I'd like to thank you Mr Rick Farr for bringing this question of the Offshore Wind Turbines lawsuit into greater awareness for the folks of Ocean Pines. Its a very important topic, a challenge against the future vitality of the OC town, as well as our beloved Ocean Pines community. Tourism and the sports fishing industry are this area's lifeblood.
And I've already thanked Mayor Rick Meehan when I happened to see him, walking in Ocean City, and recalling his impressive speech at the January 2024 meeting at the OC convention center. Also I've written to Congressman Andy Harris, after that January convention center meeting/hearing. On this forum I've thanked Commissioner Chip Bertino for his detailed writings on this same issue. And I thanked Mary Beth Carozza, seeing her walking in Berlin. So Mr Farr, you're in very good company among the various VIP's of this area. Again kudos to you for bringing this issue to Ocean Pines. And I'd extend the same thank you to all the board members supporting this lawsuit. PS Any folks unfamiliar with this topic would get a good start by looking at a summary from the January 2024 meeting at the Ocean City convention hall.
