| Parking wasn't a problem at Starr. I'm sure Kim wishes that were the case. I'll have to try the crab bisque at the marina. I measure any contenders against the she crab soup at the Oyster Bar in Grand Central Station. | ||||||

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: It's a short trip over to River Run. Check the website for menu and hours. Have been wondering about Starr at River Run for a while and appreciate the review. A couple of one offs in the food area. I would consider myself an expert in the cream of crab soup area and recently I enjoyed two unexpected places with some of the best I have had. First was the Pines Point Provisions at the Pines Point Marina now run by new owners. It is on the menu as Crab Bisque and includes Sherry and Jumbo Lump Crab |
It has been and off and on for that space for several years. Do wish the parking was a little more convenient but that is more an issue for lunch when competing with golfers for a space. No laughing but I was pleased to see a hot dog on the menu. Tough to find when one is in the hot dog mood.
