Tennis on the other hand is a well established sport and has few missionaries. Its popularity is slowly waning as the country's population is slowly aging. (First person experience!). BUT their sense of entitlement is still strong. That's why I suspect that a one sport/plays all sport membership will spill a number of newbies onto the tennis courts that may cause a new controversy. Tennis players have been quiet during this controversy. Some may argue that they have nothing to gripe about and may be looking at a reduction is some rates. That could change.

All of these factors should have been fully considered by the Racquet Committee AND the Board before this major change was approved.
