you are sadly mistaken and your post is chock full of errors and misinformation
Not an impossibility. I welcome criticism, but your comment above doesn't cut it. The facts I presented are essentially from OPA. Is OPA wrong? You have presented no facts. All you have presented is your ongoing complaints about pickleball membership costs being increased while tennis and platform were not, overlooking that tennis is $100 more already. Maybe there should be parity -- pickleballers pay the same as tennis. After all, the vast majority of the money spent at the facility in recent years is for pickballers, not tennis players. Do you realize how ridiculous all this pickleballer whining over increases of forty cents to less than a dollar a week to play pickleball all year, including indoors in winter, sounds to those who actually pay to support your sport? That $500,000 mentioned during the Wednesday Town Hall as spent on that facility was not money placed in reserves from pickleball. It was essentially new capital - money given to pickleballers by generous members of this association via their elected boards. Be grateful. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Joe you are sadly mistaken and your post is chock full of errors and misinformation by the way pickleball increase of 20-30 was not applied to tennis or platform tennis. tell me why the only sport that shows a profit gets nailed with an inctease? Tennis and platform tennis loose money and get no increase in fees makes no sense sincerely Darryl Noble |
