At this point there are not even final plans available, much less any guarantee of full funding. Full funding of $10 million is a pipe dream. If the selected design/builder is handling the project as a result of some previous bid process, how could the price increase $2 million in nine months? That is a 25% increase. Yet you question nothing. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: I don't expect full funding to come from the State. I expect federal funds, including coastal habitat restoration and resilience grants from NOAA , among others, to also contribute. |
