While I agree that our swimming pools are a major attraction, it is the Beach Club and its parking that are the biggest amenity draw in Ocean Pines hands down. Truth be told if we operated as private pools our requirements for lifeguards could be drastically reduced. Our membership would be happier and our costs would be lower. Marty |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: So the board and GM can pat themselves on the back for budget surpluses while at the same time make excuses why they can't afford to keep the pool open. Makes sense. Show me the documentation that requires Aquatics (or any amenity) to be profitable. The pools are Ocean Pines biggest draw. |
