I have no idea what you mean. OPA assessment is very low compared to what others pay in surrounding areas. Comparing this place to White Horse Park (I think you will find it is zoned/classified as a campground by Worcester County) makes no sense. $165.00 a month at WHP = $1980 a year assessment. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Joe: WHP is a modular home & trailer park. You can only live there 242 days a year. The point I was trying to make is it’s a gated community. None of the amenities are open to the public at any price. There are 465 lots. The monthly fee of $165.00 covers all management and security fees, use of the lifeguarded pool, cable TV, water & sewer, trash collection, use of the fishing/crabing dock, use of the boat ramp, play grounds, and the maintenance of your yard. I am not suggesting that OP can or should return to a private community. Today, we have public W&S, public roads, public ems & police. All our amenities are public, yet we continue to pay to maintain and manage this place like a private community. |
