For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: The issue is not police presence for security purposes but police checking OPA property owner identification. Are you suggesting a middle ground? Police standing by & observing, while an OP person does the actual checking of cards &/or paperwork. Sounds like a viable option. And the officer could then reject/exclude any people who express gripes about insufficiency of their paperwork. Officer being close enough at hand to exert control. |
