I see you did not include the entire email exchange
Feel free to post yourself. They don’t make you look good, in my opinion, but I will post if you don’t. I cannot foretell the future. However, Ortt Companies are apparently managing four to six operations. You immediately jump to a doomsday scenario over staffing due to the loss of two individuals. Important individuals, I grant you, but your letter to Parks came across as petty political wrangling on the premise that you saw Ortt at Coastal when you thought he should be at the clubhouse. I am sure you will find some who agree with you. I do not. There are obviously those who wish to see Ortt Companies removed from the OPA operations. By the way, you did not reply about why/how you saw Ortt at Coastal Salt. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: I see you did not include the entire email exchange. My concern is a valid one. I have heard the GM met with Matt today to address the changes. Matt must now split his time between Coastal Salt, Coastal Smokehouse, Yacht Club and Clubhouse Grill without Ralph and Kearston's assistance. In season he adds the Beach Club and Rum Shack. Shouldn't the Board want to make sure that OPA remains the #1 priority and staff isn't spread too thin? I found Doug's response unprofessional. A simple thank you for your concerns, we are addressing the changes would have sufficed. Or....he could've not responded like is the case with every other email I send. Mr. Park's job isn't to defend Matt Ortt but to protect Ocean Pines. |
