A problem is that companies place signs on OPA common property on weekends when no CPI people are on the job. But it is not even a CPI issue.
If we want enforcement we need to be willing to pay for it. If all those signs were removed as soon as they were placed, I suspect people would soon stop wasting their money. I expect there is perhaps some enforceable law about placing signs on private property without permission. Keep in mind, those signs on OPA common property are not DR violations. Public Works, for example, could be charged with removing any and all signs on common property. Again, OPA can enforce if given the money/manpower. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: I suspect something in the DRs says lack of enforcement does not mean inability to enforce. At times I wonder. I asked about the signs posted at the entrance to the Administration building when turning off Ocean Parkway. They were the ones advertising for CNAs at a medical company. I was advised by OPA that they had actually been removed by OPA but the company just replaced them. |
