Matt Ortt and MOC brought this on themselves.  Not because the person involved is affiliated with them but because of the statements put out.  Ortt made it about his business, his 400 employees and his bringing prosperity to OPA food amenities.   Where was the rest of the organization reigning him in or counseling him on the injury of his original post?  Or perhaps they tried!  He took over 3 months to think about it before taking further action.  How many people do you think would care that the alleged driver worked at MOC, if this was handled differently on their part?   The car was found in the garage of a co-founder and current partner.  First instinct might be to support your friend.  That should’ve been done privately.  I’m not saying that Matt Ortt didn’t react out of emotion and loyalty and that’s what he felt he needed to do at the time.  Just turned out to be the wrong move, self-admittedly.  Like it or not, he didn’t seem to come to that moment until he saw the effect on his business.  That could be coincidence.  

I don’t believe everything I read.  I see statements questioned when they’re just thrown out there that go unanswered.  I’ve asked some of them.  We don’t get to choose how people grieve.
