Good restauranteurs make allowance for personnel losses all the time. I think it's presumptuous to assume that this won't happen in this case. I don't necessarily agree with Parks' tone but the thought is valid. As long as Ortt has the lease, it's their restaurant to run. As landlord, we shouldn't be interfering lest we be blamed for any shortfall in revenue or service.
Come to think about it....that's the same position I took in the Janasek matter. |
