For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: "attempts to make Wheatley’s attacker a victim" Joe, you like overly simplified literary devices, don't you? Reminds me of "eligibility is not a popularity contest." First, whatever happened on May 20, law enforcement plainly didn't see it as an "attack." And the Peace Order, issued by a Judge after a hearing, didn't reflect that any "attack" had occurred in the way that you imply. Inflammatory characterizations aside, it was an unfortunate verbal altercation between Tom and Ms. Wheately. And whatever specific events happened that night aren't directly germane to the litigation; It's what occurred afterward that's at issue. Second, no one is "making Tom a victim." The word "victim" is nowhere in the filed Complaint. He is a plaintiff/litigant enforcing and protecting legal/contractual rights and interests that he has. |
