For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Well, at least one Commissioner has questioned whether that “free money” can be used for the purpose intended. As for price, the county is not likely to pay much more than appraised value. The county has an appraisal previously obtained for some purpose. A second appraisal is required but the owner will not even respond to the county inquiry about doing a second appraisal. It is quite possible the owner expects a greater return on investment by self development as opposed to a sale at appraised value. Lots of unknowns Did you watch the video of the meeting today? |
