I certainly would not care about your personal issue if you - - and now your husband - - weren't self-proclaimed activists in OP politics and board candidacy, and especially considering that a campaign issue that you ran on was that you were  " . . . going the save Ocean Pines from corruption" (again, a quote from Reynolds and the forum, and currently being illustrated thru your exchange with beverly bromley).

That said, re your insistence that this conviction was not about 'fraud', the court document specifies "kick-backs".  Herb Kimble, who is also named on your court document seems to have been the ring-leader in an ongoing scheme in which (from an internet news source reporting on his conviction) "the call centers linked the eligible consumers up with doctors who wrote medically unnecessary prescriptions without seeing the patient". In said article, said kick-back scheme is indeed labeled "fraud".  Other reports on herb kimbles conviction indicate that said fraudulent prescriptions were written for for leg, neck and back braces, with participants getting kickbacks for the same.

So a fair and relevant question is - - considering he is named on your court document - - is that what you were convicted of being party to?  Was Kimble "the party who got us into this". It almost seems like you are saying you and your partners were duped, that you had no idea of kick-backs, you realized no financial gain, and/or weren't aware of fraudulent prescriptions for medical braces. (ie "was in a partnership several years ago and things happened that we did not realize at the time were being done incorrectly.")

Also, according to the news reports Kimble was caught and then was flipped by the feds . . . was your "mistake" halted by a sting operation?  That question is relevant because it would make a big difference to voters if you stopped the activity because you somehow found out about the things that "were being done incorrectly" in your partnership and wanted no part of it.

The questions and concerns of the voters are legitimate, but for some to to use this as an anonymous political/personal smear is not acceptable.  So please do not play the victim card in response to the questions and concerns of the voters who have no political motives.  You need to understand, from many points of view this is a very big deal. So I hope that you are able to answer objectively and halt the rumor-mill, we need community activists.

(If the herb kimble case/conviction that i refer to is not what you were involved in, i will stand corrected.)
