Technical issues related to Ocean Pines’ billing software caused the error.
I doubt that our million-dollar software system caused that error. Computers do exactly what HUMANS tell them to do. Why not just say we made a mistake, and be done with it. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: For Immediate Release March 13, 2021 Assessments due May 1 The Ocean Pines Association recently mailed assessments with an incorrect due date of March 31, 2021. The correct due date is May 1, 2021. The Association will not charge any late fees prior to that date. Technical issues related to Ocean Pines’ billing software caused the error.
