I respect your opinion.  I, however, am not seeking a candidacy on political statements that I cannot hold true to.  I am not putting myself out in any camp of alliances to push any one agenda.

I will however hold a position of accountability for all actions or votes taken as a board member.  The board trend seems to be to carry votes based on the perception of thorough evaluation, but really it is all a show.  Many, including myself claim, objection to the food truck idea.  My greater, but related objection, is the fact that the evaluation is based on a quote from a "preferred vendor" and two eBay listings. What reasonable person would consider that three real quotations?  Likewise, the awning purchase listed a "preferred vendor" and two websites?  Is this really how we shop?

Any organization our size should be able to get multiple, real vendors providing apples to apples quotes for comparison.  That is how I run my business, and how I would conduct myself as a board member.  This is the attitude of a business man, versus politicians putting on a show but really not following through.
