I called Norm Conway's office to thank him and his "right hand woman" told me that had just gotten the news that the judge ruled against Magna Entertainment...the failing Canadian Co. that had Laurel and Pimlico. He said they have no case.

So...that leaves a Shopping Mall Casino up in Laurel ..if A.A. Co. will allow it and Ocean Downs.

The scuttlebut around these parts, where Richman lives, was that he would bid but not pay the fee???  That is why I was surprised to hear that he did.

I wonder if anyone else will bid on Laurel and Pimlico now?

The shopping center does not lie in the prescribed geographical area for Laurel.

Remember when this was about saving HORSERACING? Rickman doesn't give a hoot ....and a SHOPPING MALL?

Good grief!

Maybe the Almighty is looking out for us on this issue and it will never come to pass. If it does, at least OP will get some money.
