Had we been informed that Mathias had contacted OPA officials at the time he did, we could have made our feelings know. He may have feared our opposition at the next election and he may have included us as he did OC and Berlin. Why would you write the above when you have just wrote that it was WRONG for OC and Berlin to receive slots money? Bill, your position becomes more convoluted all the time. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Thanks for your reasonable and thoughtful response. We did get into this too late (an Norm has pointed out.) Had we been informed that Mathias had contacted OPA officials at the time he did, we could have made our feelings know. He may have feared our opposition at the next election and he may have included us as he did OC and Berlin. Fact is, we were not informed by management, and then when Norm informed us we paid no attention. So, we learned some things and then decided to recommend to the rest of the Board our recommended position.
