I suspect it could cost a great deal. Wild guess? $50,000 to start and much more as the county would likely appeal any initial favorable decison for those bringing the case. I'm have no idea as to the legal aspects of even beginning such a case, or the legal basis. There would need to be a legal basis of some sort to show the current system is inequiatable. I'd assume the commissioners could make the change thmselves and then face any claims by those opposed. Of course the commissioners are not likley to make such a change. |
