It is the kind of remarks that Norm makes above that provide him with his political clout.

Bill,

What political clout? I hold no elected or appointed positions. I only have truth and conviction and a number of people that in this case agree with me.

It is these people who failed to take their strong beliefs to their elected government/political officials (Mathias and Conway).

We certainly made our strong beliefs know to our elected Board of Directors. What makes you think we did not do likewise with our government/political officials? On what basis do you make that statement?

It is the kind of remarks that Norm makes above that provide him with his political clout. I suppose we should call our commissioners "wimps" and that "crew" and then expect them to be inclined to provide us with our fair share of grants or whatever else we may want.

Regardless of all the name calling and ranting by a few, I would come to the same conclusion as I did. It is these people who failed to take their strong beliefs to their elected government/political officials (Mathias and Conway).
