For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Well, at issue is whether Bunting said, "OP decides and the county doesn't have a vote." I believe if you speak with Jim he will will tell you the county does have a vote. OPA, a private corporation, cannot set speed limits on public roads. OPA cannot write laws enforceable by police on the general public using public roads. However, if the OPA board asked for a speed limit change, odds are the commissioners would agree. |
