The OPA Budget and Finance Committee held a meeting on Wednesday July 27, 2005 at 9:30 A.M. in Board Room. Presiding was chairman John O'Connor. This short video clip is not the entire meeting but a segment with the committee discussing the OPA Board's charge to all committees to provide advance budget recommendations. This committee discusses some possible items for recommendation to the board. Perhaps of interest is an idea to tie assessment increases to some cost of living index with automatic yearly increases possible. Also discussion of a fee for what is now free meeting space.
The segment again provides an opportunity for lot owners to see a committee in action. While all committee meetings are open to lot owners, few ever attend. The members of the committee are all dedicated folks, whether one agrees with opinions expressed or not.
