| Unfortunately there seems to be no rules in politics anymore. There is no out of bounds. Incivility and conspiracies seem to be the prevalent MO by many. And it is fueled in no small way by social media where many admins do nothing to limit and in fact many times promote. facts and truth become opinion And conspiracies and misinformation become facts and truth. Anyway it is truly unfortunate and shameful that this has now permeated OP politics. | ||||||

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: The integrity of the election process has been harmed. It’s shameful that OPA had to issue this press release because our Board President, Stuart Lakernick, incorrectly used our official logo in advertisements in two newspapers and utilized our venues for campaign purposes. Our community deserves leaders who follow the rules. I’ve run my campaign with full transparency and respect for our processes, and I’ll bring that same principle-driven leadership to the Board. |
