| The integrity of the election process has been harmed. It’s shameful that OPA had to issue this press release because our Board President, Stuart Lakernick, incorrectly used our official logo in advertisements in two newspapers and utilized our venues for campaign purposes. Our community deserves leaders who follow the rules. I’ve run my campaign with full transparency and respect for our processes, and I’ll bring that same principle-driven leadership to the Board. | ||||||

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: OPA, Inc. wishes to make clear that use of OPA logos and/or venues in campaign materials or ads, which has happened this election season without OPA involvement, does not constitute and should not be construed as any type of endorsement of a candidate by OPA, Inc., or its departments. Of course, the potential damage to the integrity of the OPA Board of Directors election is already done. |
