When is this change to clarify the Guidelines going to be in effect? Curiously, the board parliamentarian showed up at committee meeting to give public comments and explain the sign regs. Go listen to that. Meantime, one sign per lot or a CPI violation? Meantime, Stuart Lakernick, a board candidate, kept praising Ransdell, even after Ransdell threw his own committee under the bus, violated the Maryland HOA Act, etc. Ransdell’s committee should have addressed this and had the board fix it months ago. The board is at fault as well. The board approved this and other questionable Guidelines changes in April 2024. Did anyone even look at the sign regs LAST year? |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: ARC is in the process of updating some guidelines including signs to make it clearer. On candidate signs it does refer to general political signs as ‘one type’ and should have been more specific for board candidate section, the intent was no more than one per board candidate on a lot. This will be made clearer in the update. |
