Yes group admins need to use the paid partnership tag, mentioned in your link. If a promotion is paid for it needs to be acknowledged. ROC posted frequently about companies and some of them seem to be advertising in the "newspaper" currently. So it makes sense to assume they were paying to be on the page. I wasn't clear but definitely not talking about users making posts recommending businesses. This is admins doing it as content when it is clearly an ad. | ||||||

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: it's against Facebook's rules to post an ad in a group, I am no Facebook expert, but your comment above may not be correct. It may depend on a number of factors, as I read the info on this. In fact, both ROC and Get Involved groups contain a great deal of what most users would see as advertising for area businesses or non-profits, including OPA amenities; OPVFD, Cat Groups, Eye Care; local restaurants; etc. Looks to me like the restriction is on the group admins and/or owners/orwhatevertheyarecalled, not on those who join the group.
