I am no Facebook expert, but your comment above may not be correct. It may depend on a number of factors, as I read the info on this. In fact, both ROC and Get Involved groups contain a great deal of what most users would see as advertising for area businesses or non-profits, including OPA amenities; OPVFD, Cat Groups, Eye Care; local restaurants; etc. Looks to me like the restriction is on the group admins and/or owners/orwhatevertheyarecalled, not on those who join the group. For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: It's interesting that the podcast insinuates (I'm assuming, I won't add to the 10's of downloads) something nefarious when ROC page also blocks critical posts by requiring approval and if you post a comment critical of ROC you will be deleted and blocked. If you point out it's against Facebook's rules to post an ad in a group, like the ROC page without claiming it's an ad you will get blocked. Seems ROC has their own circle of trust |
