For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Puttin' on the Ritz . . . I wonder how many readers remember that phrase? YOU BET -- our whole family can remember and have loved to hear that "Puttin' on the Ritz" song !!!! Also loved to sing it, with its quick rhythm, and its dramatic style. {Featuring} Irving Berlin,... Film title, ... Fred Astaire,... Clark Gable, and Gene Wilder. Hard to beat that pedigree of Who's Who in show Biz. Pine Tones Chorus has sung it, when featuring Irving Berlin in some earlier shows. The seniors may like the version by Clark Gable best, and the younger folks may favor the Young Frankenstein version with Gene Wilder. Wondering, What's your favorite version??
