| By 1990 the Army Corps of Engineers, as well as locals, had spread enough week killers to wipe out the milfoil in Seneca, and perhaps the nearby Gunpowder. Major environmental disaster caused by folks after World War II who suddenly had power boats and the milfoil prevented high speeds. | ||||||

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: I was there from about 1990 to about 2014. Right on the point Had tons of fun. We had a nice swimming beach on the bayside and a fisting beach on the creek side. Pretty little picnic pavilion where we'd grill all day and drink beer while watching the boats come in and out of the Seneca. Porters was just across the creek from us and the power plant was about 1/4 mile NW. Was some good crabbing if front of the power plant. There is actually several Goose Harbor alumni right here in OP. Maybe some will jump in. |
