This all seems very one sided. why didn't you contact Patti Stevens directly for her side of this article? i don't like the way you put this info out without any information on why she and the other members who are working for this think it could work.
Thanks for your post. Patti or anyone else is free to post whatever they choose here in response to what I write. This is a discussion forum. That said, no amount of discussion is going to provide a wider right-of-way on Ocean Parkway. As one who paid $800 for a Gitane Tour de France with a lightweight "Reynolds" tubular frame in 1980 and cycled all over Maryland, and even to work in Baltimore City from the suburbs (never on a bike path), I understand the issue. Longest ride was Baltimore to Frederick. What are your views on how a legal bike path can be constructed on the Parkway? I assume you and other cyclists are aware cyclists can use the roads in Ocean Pines, as well as many across the entire state, under the exact same rules as those for motor vehicles.
