For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Peck wrote the following innuendo on Get Involved, "I really do feel like our Board needs to address OP's plan for the future. The plan was to have Colby be our next GM but they have ruined that." Your example of innuendo is ill chosen. It is not innuendo but simply legitimate political criticism. Albeit highly opinionated criticism. But not innuendo. Innuendo is essentially a form of gossip implying immoral or shall we say base motivations to the actions of someone or something. Such motivations can be lust, greed or any of the vices. Here is an example: I sure hope Susan Koman gets enough time off from soliciting charitable contributions to her foundation so she can enjoy the 2 million dollar home she is building in Nevada. That's innuendo. |
