Glen Riddle is paying the OP service area to treat sewage trucked from Glen Riddle to OP. We have no idea if the payment amount is fair.
You failed to mention the payment is 500K a year. Yet you imply the amount is insufficient.
Why shouldn't they? Riddle is a cash cow for the county. there are approx. 700 homes there paying between 2500-4500 in property taxes. It is not unreasonable to expect drinkable water and flush able toilets in return. And yes, every taxpayer in the County contributes to the General Fund. Oh, puh-leeze. |

We have no idea if the payment amount is fair. The Commissioners have already taken over one million dollars from the General Fund and given it to the Glen Riddle service area. And yes, every taxpayer in the County contributes to the General Fund. |
