For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: The remarks made toward Chip were way out of line. When Chip and I attended one of the county staff Information Meetings a couple of weeks ago on the Enterprise Funds their presentation only addressed Option 3, and was the only one of four options highlighted in color on the slide presentation. Weston also noted at last night’s meeting Option 3 had been the preferred plan until he announced it was now off the table due to legal issues on the bonds. There was no question Option 3 was the choice until our attorney pointed out the plan was not legally feasible. We won the first round, however as you noted there still is a remaining $6.6M borrowed from the General Fund that will have to be dealt with. The board will continue to work together with Chip and Jimmy to get a fair resolution for OP ratepayers. |
