The real issue: Rick Farr asserts that this election contractor was providing him details about a specific property owner’s voting activity. Because of that breach, MK Elections should not be hired. Period. Full stop.

Madam Peck, you freely admit that you knowingly voted twice. For yourself one supposes.

You owe us an explanation as to why. You have been less than forthcoming on this important detail.

It is more than a mere detail. It is the central issue here. I want to know why you voted twice.

Furthermore, it occurs to me that MK, knowing that there were irregularities going on, did precisely the right thing in notifying OPA.

Who do you think they should have notified? Please be specific.

As for a "specific property owner" are you suggesting that the 32 or 33 properties that voted twice should not have been identified?

Why shouldn't they be identified?

You were a candidate. You knowingly violated the most basic rule. Yet you seem irked that OPA was notified.

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where:
We are here because Rick Farr, the Director now moving to hire MK Elections, despite not being the Election Committee’s preferred candidate, declared that MK Elections told him I voted twice. Take a moment to read that again. The issue is that the then Board President and candidate received information from our vendor indicating that a specific property owner (me) voted twice.
When Mr. Reynolds suggested that perhaps Mr. Farr had misremembered citing that I had discovered a flaw in MK’s system that sent a live voting link to homeowners who’d already been notified, Mr. Farr insisted his memory was correct, and thus his assertion that MK improperly disclosed information about a specific lot owner stands.

It’s alarming that everyone on this Forum can read Rick Farr’s statement and learn that MK shared this sensitive detail; however our corporate counsel is still stating “ For the record, I have zero knowledge of MK disclosing anything to Mr. Farr or to any other Board member (or to me) about how anyone voted or whether anyone voted twice. So far as I'm aware, that hasn't happened, period, full stop.”

Let me break it down:
• First: The issue is NOT about MK Elections having a flaw in its system that sent a live link to homeowners who’d already received vote confirmations or how I discovered that flaw and immediately did the right thing and informed the Election Chair and followed his instructions to contact MK.
• Second: The issue is NOT about the 33 duplicate votes or the process in place to filter them.
• The real issue: Rick Farr asserts that this election contractor was providing him details about a specific property owner’s voting activity. Because of that breach, MK Elections should not be hired. Period. Full stop.
