It appears Corporate Counsel is attempting to fabricate an issue regarding my lack of clarification a year ago to two homeowners who had no involvement in the election process on this Forum. Let me be unequivocally clear: I acted immediately and responsibly by notifying the Election Chair, Steve Ransdell, of a vulnerability in the system. When the Election Chair asserted that the reminder link sent to homeowners who had already voted would not function, I corrected him and let him know I had screenshots demonstrating that it was, in fact, a live working link. Following his instructions, I promptly alerted MK Elections and was assured that their processes would prevent any possibility of double voting.
The 2024 Election Report categorically disproves your baseless claim of a so-called “duplicate voting” issue. The report clearly documents that thirty-three homeowners voted a second time, likely due to the same faulty live link I identified and reported responsibly. Your insinuation that I acted improperly or with intent to cheat is not only patently false but also inflammatory. Moreover, it appears you are deflecting from the real issue: Director Rick Farr, who at the time was President and a candidate running for re-election, stated that the election contractor was providing him with information regarding my voting activity. Finally, I must ask: how much has this exchange with me and the hiring of an election contractor, per the RFP that was supposed to be completed by April 15, costing the homeowners? |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Not to belabor this, but . . . In response to your post last year that I quoted from, in the same thread, Debbie Bloom specifically asked "Did you click the link to see if you could vote twice, once by mail and once by email?" You did not respond to her. The late Jim Trummel then stated in the same thread "Amy only indicates that the link was 'working' without further elaboration except for what is in screen shots we have not seen." You did not respond to that post to provide the "elaboration" Mr. Trummel was hoping for. In a subsequent post in the same thread, he asked and stated "What does it mean when it is said that Amy's link works? I don't know." You did not respond. Ms. Bloom, Mr. Trummel, and me all read your post seeking to raise a "red flag" about the possibility of someone voting twice, as suggesting you could do so and that you might have done so, but (strategically, in my view) not saying whether you actually did do so. As stated, you stayed (conspicuously) silent when Ms. Bloom or Mr. Trummel both asked whether you had voted twice. What is "alarming" to me (using your word) as legal counsel to OPA is that, while a candidate in the 2024 election and apparently to support your claims of a (non-existent) "duplicate voting" issue, you (apparently deliberately) voted twice, once by paper and once electronically, and you did so after having received an email from MK confirming that it had received your paper ballot (see your post on the Forum on July 9, 2024, stating to Joe Reynolds: "Yes. I received an email that my mailed ballot was received.") |
