WBOC News is reporting that the Worcester County Commissioners reversed their position and by a 6-1 vote at their January 21 meeting decided to send a letter of support of Maryland Coastal Bays Program's application for a multi-million dollar grant from the state of Maryland. According to WBOC, President Ted Elder said it was time to set aside differences. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Or integrity on the part of the commissioners? I don't see the problem with their taking a principled stand on the issue especially when the Coastal Bays is facing a problem directly in their wheelhouse and....folds. Are the directors/officers of Coastal Bays paid for their services or is it an entiirely volunteer organization? |
