I went back and did my "homework". It shows that the board packet (which was last minute changed to add the bids shows Board approved $125,000 plus $15,000 (interior) for renovation of restrooms, pro shop, interior storage and Director office. Work to be performed by contractor in combination with OPA team. This is what was presented at the December 2023 board meeting, what was discussed in the GM report and what the Board approved. At the same time, the Tiki Bar expansion was also presented. It reads $137,500 plus $60,000 (material OPA) = $197,500. Work will be performed by a team recommended contractor in combination with OPA Team. What am I missing? | ||||||

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: There is a bid dated 12/14/23 which was included in the 12/16 board meeting packet at the last minute. It shows a cost of $140,000.00. Do your homework and you will find that the $140,000 number did not include all the aspects of the project. |
